Terms of service
Zuletzt aktualisiert: 28 September 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses trusttradesspain.com, whether you are looking for a tradesperson, leaving a review, or listing your business. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What TrustTradesSpain is
TrustTradesSpain is a directory. We display information about tradespeople and reviews of their work so that you can choose who to contact. We do not provide trade services ourselves, we do not employ or act as agent for the tradespeople listed, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a tradesperson.
Any quote, contract, payment, guarantee or dispute about work is between you and the tradesperson. Before hiring anyone, check for yourself that they are suitable for the job, including any licences, insurance and permits it requires. Labels such as “job-verified” describe what our records show about a specific review; they are not an endorsement of the quality of anyone’s work.
Using the site
When using the site, you agree not to:
- break the law, or use the site to harass, defraud or mislead anyone;
- post content that is false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or obscene;
- infringe anyone else’s intellectual property or privacy;
- copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, or interfere with its security or operation;
- use contact details found on the site to send unsolicited marketing.
Reviews
Reviews must describe your own, genuine experience of the business. You must not review a business you own, work for or are connected to, post a review on someone else’s behalf, or accept anything in return for a review.
Businesses may invite customers to review them, but must invite customers without regard to whether they expect a positive review, and must not offer any payment, discount or other benefit in exchange for a review or for a particular rating.
We publish reviews as written and show where each one came from. We may remove a review that breaks these terms, for example spam, abusive content, or a review that is not about the business. We do not remove reviews because they are negative.
Listing your business
If you create a listing, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to act for the business you list;
- everything in your listing is accurate and kept up to date, including your services, areas covered, prices, qualifications and contact details;
- you hold the licences, registrations and insurance that the law requires for the work you advertise;
- you have the right to publish the photos and other content you upload, and you give us permission to display it on the site and in promoting your listing.
You are responsible for the content of your own listing and for the work you carry out. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Removing listings and accounts
We may edit, suspend or remove a listing, or close an account, if we reasonably believe that:
- the listing contains false or misleading information;
- the business has manipulated or fabricated reviews, or gated review requests;
- the business is operating unlawfully or without required licences or insurance;
- we have received credible complaints of fraud or serious misconduct; or
- these terms have otherwise been broken.
Where appropriate we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You can close your account and remove your listing at any time by contacting us.
Disclaimers
We work to keep the directory accurate, but listing content is provided by the businesses themselves and reviews by their customers. We do not guarantee that any listing or review is complete, accurate or current, or that the site will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustTradesSpain is not liable for any loss or damage arising from work carried out, or not carried out, by a tradesperson you found through the site, from your reliance on listing content or reviews, or from any interruption to the site. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred euros.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page, and tell listed businesses by email about significant changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and the courts of Spain have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you use the site as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings there.
